I am in tears...! Lost my 4 days old daughter...!!

We are in deep sorrow as our pre-maturely born baby (30 weeks of pregnancy) died after surviving only for 4 days. Last week my wife's BP got shot up to 210/110. The doctors advised to terminate the pregnancy atleast to save the mother.
After a week of treatment in intensive care, yesterday only I have brought my wife back home. I am still not alright....! I feel alone...!

It is becoming difficult for me to write here everyday...! Though I am very much eager writing here regularly, the past couple of weeks keeping me busy in various activities...! As you know I have travelled to Chennai and stayed there for couple of days, fell sick for a few days, travelled to Trivandrum last weekend and so on kept me busy...!

There are few other factors also caused the irregularity in posting here includes the offers coming from various employers (as they require me to submit proposals about their business to evaluate my skills, I spend most of my free time preparing them...)

I am also discussing with few tech experts to partner with me to come out with a new website to conduct online drawing competitions...! These are all the excuses to support my irregularity in posting here :) ...!

But I should thank those all who are coming back to visit my blog though I haven't wrote regularly...! Do keep visiting...!

Day before yesterday, my second maternal uncle came to our house to invite us for his daughter's marriage to be held on 27th November. This year have given us (our extended family members) lots of opportunities to get together...! The marriage will also be one of such days...!

Another weekend is nearing ..! Have a happy weekend..!

Rolled on a muddy slippery wet land...!

Thanks for Mickie for writing 5 comments to my posts and become a follower of my blog...! I should also apologize for my delayed email reply to her...! I was not in town for the past 3 days and hence not able to post here...! I have started on Friday to Trivandrum for my health checkup...! Normally we use to be there for two days ...!

My father-in-law changed his house to a new area nearer to the old one...! The house owner allowed them to rent the house with the condition that they should not cook non-veg there...! So this time I have missed the sea food there..!

Since it is raining and the evenings become more chiller, we have started earlier this time at around 2 pm yesterday... We caught the bus almost it was moving out of the bus terminal...! when it has crossed the big mountain and came down there was a block on the road...! A huge tree fell down across the road blocking the entire traffic on both the sides...!

I have called up my friend in Shenkottai to bring his car there... Unfortunately he was out of town ... We have decided to cross the blocked area...! But there was no go to cross it by road...! It was raining also...! We dared to cross the region through the wet, muddy and slippery farm land on the sides..!

There were luggages hanging on both my shoulders and I was holding my son in one hand... Due to that weight, my legs got stuck deep in the mud and I was not able move forward...! When I have tried heavily, one leg got released suddenly which led me to fell down...

But my reflex worked very well ... its only me sat on the mud.. Neither my son nor the luggages even touched down... Then I have removed my slippers then the worse become worst...! There were small thorns all along there...!

I have somehow managed to cross that region and seen one of the police vehicle moving towards the town...! I have asked for a lift and reached the nearby town safely...!

Its all in the game...!

Back in town.. Back from Fever...!

Wondering why there were no posts for the past one week...? Actually I have left for Chennai last Tuesday night as part of my job change process...! I have really planned to put a word about it on my post dated 03rd November...!

But due to busy work, I was not able to post on that day...! As I have arrived in Chennai on 04th November, it was heavily raining there and I was busy rescheduling my plans for that day keeping in mind that I should effectively plan those two days....!

I have got an appointment to meet one of the pioneering education service provider company's Chairman in the afternoon (I will reveal the company name once I get all the papers from them..) The discussion (interview) went on for little more than 3 hours. At the end, I have been asked to submit a business plan and roadmap the next day.

When I have reached my cousin's home it was already 8 and I was totally wet in the rain... Then my cousin took me to a nearby hotel for dinner... We have returned back some close to 10 pm in the night...!

The next day he left for work at 8 and I have caught cold and was feeling feverish...! But I was very determinant to win the task..! After the breakfast I have started preparing the roadmap and business plan to be submitted in the afternoon...!

Well... In the afternoon my submission proved winning...! I have been told that I will be getting the offer soon..! Happy that I have won an another game...! But I have become very weak physically due to cold and fever...!

Somehow managed the remaining part of the day by some purchasing of toys and snacks for my little kid, couple of meetings and an overnight travel back home...!

Worse became worst...! When I have reached my town It was heavily raining filling all the ponds in that region in just two days of rain...! Didn't attend to the office on Friday and took rest as per doctor's advice... But the health remained same till Sunday...!

When I have felt a little better, I didn't want to remain idle at home and attended the office..! But the devil (fever) didn't allow me in the afternoon...!

So I have come to office on a regular basis only from yesterday and due to the piled up work of the previous week and regular meeting today morning, now only I have got time to write here though it is a relatively longer post

Happy family get together...!

There were couple of reasons kept me away from writing here for the past couple of days...! The OFC got cut off at the office and caused the failure of Internet connectivity, my broadband router got a problem and caused 'no Internet' at home till Saturday, and I was not in town yesterday (Hope you remember) to take part in one of my relative's betrothal function...!

Almost all of my relatives were there to attend the function...! I thought it would be appropriate to take a video of all of us sitting together to have our feast...! The best part of it is I had a chance to sit together with my first maternal uncle to have the feast...!

Its all about happy moments...!

Its raining and it is beautiful..!!

I was very busy the entire day yesterday and could not write my regular post here..!

Today the day has started very pleasantly...! It was an awesome experience to ride on the motor cycle as the cool breeze blowing to make the mind fresh!!

As I have wrote earlier, my son is suffering cold. So I have decided to take him to the hospital...! So I have started little past noon and drove to my son's school to pick him up on the way to Rajapalayam...!

On our way back, it was heavily raining and I found it difficult to drive on a rainy day...! Because the road was foggy and not able to get a clear vision on that foggy atmosphere..!

As it is a more traveled road, I have somehow managed to reach home safely...!

Now it is about 10.00 pm in the night, just waiting for one of my friend to join me for chat on my career plans...!

First exam to attend...!

Again it is a very short Tuesday today..! Very busy till I left my office...!

Once I reached home I thought of going out with my son... ! Actually he got cold for the past couple of days...! Though I used to suggest immediate medication or a doctor's consultation, his mother normally used prepare herbal medication by boiling Tulsi leaves, Mint leaves and Palm Sugar...!

I didnt had much trust on such home made medications, but as the results were good, I am not apposing them these days...!

So I have took him to shops to buy Tulsi and bananas. He also bought a Milkybar chocolate (one of his favourites... the other one is bourbon biscuits)

I used to get him his favourite chocolate if he does something new or special...! Tomorrow he will be attending his first school test...! Should be exciting for him...! My best wishes will always be there for him...!

I had my dinner earlier today as I was feeling very tired... I am about to go to bed now...!

Rushing to the office this morning...!

Hope you have spent your weekend good... For me things didn't go as I have planned.. Previously I have planned to go to our family temple near Rajapalayam. But as I could not get a vehicle, I have dropped the idea of going there....

Then you knew I have wrote I was planning to go to Tirunelveli. As the person I have planned to meet was unavailable, I didn't go there too...! So I have simply settled with a good lunch only yesterday...!

Then the week started with a rush this morning...! When I was about to have my breakfast, my boss called me on my mobile and told he will be leaving to Madurai for an official trip and wanted to have supporting docs urgently!!

I have decided not to take my breakfast .! I have picked up my son and dropped him in his school and rushed to my office...! After making every document he needed ready, I had my breakfast at the college canteen little lately today...

Then the good news of today is, one of the long held scrips of mine soared to new heights (now it is up 20% than the previous day!!)... Hope it will move further to touch new heights tomorrow.... As I am having handful the stocks of the scrip, probably I may sell it tomorrow if everything goes as excepted...!

Contradict to my yesterday's post...!

This is my second post today... Hope you have read my earlier post (It is 150 now and still growing..!) also.

Yesterday I have wrote that the week has come to an end without much interesting stories to share...! It was written about 3 pm yesterday..! But I have got a call from my Mom that my second maternal uncle has come to my home...!

I thought it would be appropriate for me to go home earlier so that I can meet him..! He was there to invite all of us for the betrothal function of his third daughter on 1st of November...!

Happy to attend...! Yet another opportunity for all for all of our relatives to get together...! As you know me, I love to be with people...! Looking forward to that day!! There will be atleast two more such days before end of this year...!

One on November 27 - the same girl's wedding and one another on December 11 - Balaji's Wedding...!

Tomorrow I may probably travel to Tirunelveli in the afternoon...!

It is 150 now and still growing!!

This is my 150th post on my blog...! One will tend to write more when he get the feeling that someone is reading...! I am a happy writer here, because I have atleast one good special regular reader ...!

Though I love to be member of social networking websites, I am not very actively and regularly viewing the profiles of every friend.. But I use to view only a few profiles in Orkut very regularly as their way of thinking matches my interests..! Say it be their title message or images or videos, its all matches my interests ...!

So I would take this opportunity to thank them...

Another end of the week!!

As expected the week has come to an end without much interesting stories to share here...! Since this morning we are busy attending to the National Conference conducted by the department of management studies at our campus..

I didn't even gone home for lunch today... I have been invited by the department people to take part in the valedictory function and to distribute prizes and certificate to best performers of the event...!

Happy to leave for that in another 15-20 minutes...!

Tomorrow is a working day for us..! So there will be an another post dated tomorrow..! My LinkedIn network has grown to 31 as against any other social networks where I am a member...!

All those happening in my life... Am I special...?

I have been a warrior since my birth... fighting against almost all kind of odds should or should not come across in his life....

I have met lots of ups, downs, frustrations, showering affection, successes, defeats and those not explained in words here... There were times I thought God is ruthless on me...

But later I have started taken it as I am special... that is why I am given all kind of feelings to live with...!

This week is going very tightly scheduled... Today I have returned from office little late... Even this afternoon I could not go to my son's school to pick him up..! Even tomorrow will also be very busy I think...

Will write more tomorrow...!

Wondering how it works...!

Its been 14 good years since I have started using computers...! I still remember the first computer I have owned had only 8 mb of RAM and 640 mb of hard disk only. But I was successfully using it for resource consuming graphics designing works!!

Those days the highest external memory I have ever used was a ZIP Drive with a 100 mb cassette type floppy...! But within a little more of a decade technology improved in lightning speed...!

The recent purchase I have made was a 1 tb hard disk that too at half of the cost I have spent to buy a 4 GB hard disk a decade ago...!

Not only that, things and people are changing on a fast pace..!

Note : This post means I dont have any remarkable incidents happened in my life for the past two days to write here. So there is a old story... :) Bear with me...! :D

Prasanna trying Silambam!!

This is my second post today...! Hope you have read the previous one already!! The day after Diwali, when we were spending time at the backyard of my house, I have noticed my son picking up a stick and doing something with it...!

I have started watching him since then...! Then only I could understand that he was trying Silambam (one of the martial arts practiced in my part of the world for centuries together)...!

It was a great surprise to me...! Because he never get a chance to learn it from a master except couple of the steps demonstrated by me that too just to entertain him couple of months back..!

I thought it would be worth taking a video of it and sharing with you...! It is all hidden talent inside every individual but should be given right opportunity to burst out...!

Suprising Diwali...!!

I remember I have promised to write one more post on last Friday before leaving for Diwali holidays..! As planned I have attended the office on Friday... but being a holiday, the network was put down at our campus and i could not keep up my promise on that day..!

As I have reached home only in the afternoon on Friday, I have rushed for shopping for the next big day!! Once all the purchase was over, it was almost 7 pm in the night..! As I have planned to wake up about 3 am the next morning, I decided to go to bed early than writing my post on that day...!

We have completed the Deepavali Pooja at around 5.30 am on Saturday morning...! After that I have started calling my friends to wish them a happy Diwali...!

But the real surprise was, the call I got from my first maternal uncle on my mother's mobile...! After talking to my mother, my aunt wanted to wish me followed by my uncle..!!

Its all after a very long break...! I remember those days when telephone was not a regular medium of communication when people have exchanged greeting cards to wish the kith and kin of their relatives and friends!!!

After that we have took photographs in the Diwali attire..! I knew my posts were very dry only with text and without photos or videos...! That is why I have posted a few here...!

Should I start a business..?

Its boring as there are not much interesting stories to write here today..! The day went on without any interesting stories..!

We will not be working on coming Friday, Saturday and Sunday as the Festival of Lights - Diwali falls on Saturday..! The business is as usual..!

For the past couple of weeks my mind is insisting me to start a business rather than to search for a right job change...! Though my first preference goes to running my own business, due to some financial and other limitations I have postponed the idea previously...!

But my mind now restlessly thinks about running a business!! Though it is risky to start a third party funded start up, the trust and confidence I have in my ability and skills drives me further in taking a decision in favour of running my own business!!

But still I am not rushing me up in deciding on that....! Let us see what is going to happen...!

The head hunting has started..!!

It is good news for techies waiting on the benches and for those looking for a career in IT in India...! The head has started as it is reported in siliconindia and other reliable sources...!

Being Tuesday, as you guessed a larger pie of my day was eaten by the weekly meeting...! I can say crisply its been a whole problem solving day today ...! Lots of grievance redressal applications been given solution today...!

I have come back from office earlier today. But found my son being adamant in doing his homework...! Still struggling to convince him to do his homework himself... Though he is a very brilliant boy, sometimes he will not listen to anybody ...!

Yesterday I have got calls from two of my old friends (they are twin brothers)...! Its been surprising to me...!

There are lots of business ideas in my mind.. But still looking for an apt time for them to get shaped and implemented for a successful business...! My mind says that I should keep myself patient and hit the market the right time...!

Change is not inevitable...!

Hope your week started good...! How was the weekend ...! Guess it was fine.

My weekend also went pretty good...! You knew that last Saturday most of our relatives gathered at Rameswaram for the post-life ritual of my grandma...! My mother was also present there..!

When she was returning back, my brother picked her up she stayed at his house that day. Then all of them have started to my home yesterday and visited couple of temples on the way...!

They have reached my home in the evening at around 5. Since my brother's son is to attend school today, they have returned to their place yesterday itself...! Their visit made my son excited and was playing with them till they leave...!

You know that I love to be with people...! I can say that it is my strength and weakness too...! There are people who change with time and wont remain the same over the period of time...! For them all change is inevitable...! But for me, change is not inevitable, it should be decided on a case to case basis only...!

Thank God!! I remain the same as I know me since my birth...!!

My Grandma remembered...!

Almost an year have passed since my grandma passed away...! She was at her 80s when she breathed last.!! She lived as a very humble, polite and affectionate personality all through her life...!

She live as a loved one by 8 children and 16 grand children all through her life...! Now all of her children are travelling to Rameswaram to take part in her after-life ritual for the first year...!

Then yesterday night I have got a call from one of my prospective employer. The discussion went on for about half an hour..! They wanted to meet me and planning to travel down south for the meeting...! But I haven't yet set my mind to join them and thinking of meeting about them!!

It is yet another weekend without much thrills ...! Another week to go for the big celebration across the country - Diwali !! It reminds me the old days of childhood when I have prepared hand made greeting cards for the loved ones..!

But the life today is full on electronic media ...! Not much room for the human affection to be embedded as sincere work on the cards!! Anyhow my sincere and advance Diwali wishes for you..!!

You know I have wrote about my active participation in LinkedIn through my old posts...! When I was browsing through the internet, I have found one another interesting website docstoc !!

I didn't waited much but immediately posted one of my documents there...! So you can now find me in docstoc too..! Then yesterday I was quite busy at my work and could not find enough time to post in the day time and decided to do it from my home..! But when I reached home I have found my son crying... He had fell down while playing and scratched his both knees..! So I have spent more time in consoling him and in that I haven't find time to write my yesterday's post...!

Tomorrow I will write about one of the other softwares...! Till then bye...

Shorter Tuesdays...!

These days the Tuesdays are becoming shorter as we have our top management meetings on Tuesdays...! It takes upto 3 hours of our regular working hours of the day!!

This morning also most of my time was ate by the meeting and I didn't get much time to spare with any other activities except the couple of phone calls I made to my Mom who was travelling to Chennai..!

In the afternoon, I had a meeting with one of our suppliers. As part of the meeting it happened to meet my boss at his residence. As my residence also nearer to his, when I was returning back to office in the evening (almost it was after-office-hours) I have took my son with me to the office.

On our return to home , today also he was enjoying the beautiful lights put up on the streets as part of the temple festival here...!

Let us hope a better tomorrow too...!

Its his second stint at school...!

My regular readers might be remembering about my son's refusal to go to school when he was too small to go to school...

Now we believe he had grown up enough to go to school and today he made his second stint at school..! He was pestering me to admit him in school for the entire last week...!

As the schools are closed for quarterly vacation and reopened today only, I have made him at school today only...!

He had been told about life at school and how we are planning to leave and pick him up from the school to set his mind that he will be at school without the parent. I found no problem in leaving him at school and came to the office as usual in the morning...!

Then I have reached my home, my wife went to a nearby temple. So I thought of bringing my son from the school. On seeing me, he started crying and complained that his were already gone home...!

In the evening, I have took him to have a look at the beautiful lights put up on the streets for the ongoing temple festivals around the town...!

Now he is sitting on my lap listening to some good music wearing the headphone...!

Gandhi remembered...!

Mahatma - The word which become synonymous with his name Gandhi (Mohanlal Karamchand Gandhi)...! The great soul who have shown the world a most powerful weapon to fight against exploitation, Ahimsa (Non violence)...!

Today is Gandhi Jayanthi, the birthday of 'The Father of the Nation', which is also observed as the International Day of Non-violence. Most of the people in India, it is just another holiday, but his thoughts and ideologies should be taken to the younger generation in a much effective way for a better tomorrow...!

As we have started working on a new project of establishing a new matriculation school under the education institutions group I represent, our office is working today...! Being a relaxed, undisturbed holiday work, I have walked around our entire campus this morning in an attempt to update my knowledge about the latest happenings around here...!

In the afternoon, I was fully into the Internet trying to find about an information about a digital printer and spent the remaining time in preparing a proposal ...!

The Negotiation is On...!

Hope you have read my yesterday's post where I have promised to write about the film 'Unnai pol oruvan' in my Tamil blog ...! Little before only I have finished writing there...!

I have also wrote here that there are job offers coming my way..! Now I am carefully analyzing each offer and negotiating with some of those companies...! Some others I have already turned down...! But I am still expecting one another offer (which I am very much interested in...)!

If I get it I will definitely write here...!

Then yesterday and today there were lots of meetings...! This morning I have attended one another Symposium by the Department of Computer Science Engineering as a guest of honor..!

In the afternoon, after lunch, there were meetings with various people... That is how the day end today...!

Back in town ... but busy...!!!

It was 11 pm yesterday night when we have reached home from Trivandrum...! The have started an hour and a half late...! Otherwise we could have reached home by 9.30 pm itself..!

There were jam packed three days we have spent in there!!!

The first day, we have been to the film 'Unnai pol oruvan' starred by Kamal Hasan. Really a good film to watch..! I am planning write about it in my Tamil blog 'Kaattaru' tomorrow...!!

The next day there was a disappointment...! My doctor was not available on that day...!

On Monday, we have been to the Saraswathi Temple with my son for a ritual ceremony of writing on the tongue of the child for them to study well...! Myself and my son were in Dhothies..! (No male will be allowed to wear shirt inside the temple).

After that we have visited Padmanaba Swamy Temple ...! My son enjoyed playing and running in the big temple premises...!

Yesterday we went for the hospitals (For me and my wife's monthly checkup).. As I haven't took the medicine for the past three days, the BP was 130/90...! The doctor asked me to continue the medication for another fortnight...!

Then about my today... I will right tomorrow...!

It is holiday time in India...! People are preparing to celebrate Saraswathi Pooja and Vijaya Dhasami on coming Sunday and Monday...!

I am planning to go for a check up to Trivandrum tomorrow afternoon...! I will be there on coming Sunday and Monday and will be back in town on Tuesday...! As usual, I will try to write my regular posts from cybercafes or from my mobile.

Today the department of Information Technology of our institution is conducting a Symposium gathering contestants from the surrounding colleges...! My 3rd maternal uncle's son also participating in the competitions representing his college...!

As a coincidence, his father also came here on his way to the nearby town here as part of his business visit...! We were having good time spending together and he left just now..!

Away from internet

Dear all, i was away from the internet for the entire day today. I will write about my today before 10 am ist tomorrow. Till then please stay tuned . . !

GM, COO, What else in store...?

Hope you remember I am looking for a job change since a bit before I have wrote about it in my old post here...! Now there are handful of opportunities coming in my way...! But I am very carefully looking into the pros and cons of every offer ....!

Because I am aiming for a giant leap from here rather than to plan for small time growth!! The offers include designations ranging from GM to COO....! Let me wait and see what else in store for me...!

As I am keeping busy since last week I was not able to write here regularly...! So just a brief about things happened since last Friday...!

Last Friday I have got a call from my cousin who is studying 3rd year BTech in IT at Virudhunagar and he told me that he was not feeling well. As he is not in good terms with his father, I have asked him to come to my home for treatment. He was there with us till Sunday...!

On last Saturday, we have been to Jeyaveera Abayahastha Anjaneyar temple at Krishnapuram near here.

On Monday night my son wanted to play with fireworks and crackers and so we did.

My son was very happy yesterday night as my relatives attended his birthday party.

He happily cut the cake and shared with others.

Yes he is completing 3, yet unbelievable but true....! Today my son's 3rd birthday....! We have the birthday party at 6.30 pm today at my home...! I have to be there by 6 pm...! But I am already running late....!

Not feeling well...!

This week is going very flat...! Not much of interesting things happened except the Monday...!

Right from yesterday night I am not feeling alright...! I am feeling like feverish and wanted to take off from my office this afternoon...! But I dont want to simply sit at home...! So I have come back to office after lunch...!

My uncle called me by name...!

You knew I have posted here last Monday only. I was typing one another post to be posted on the same date, but kept it pending as my plans for that day have changed unexpectedly...!

Previously, for some valid reasons we have decided to skip the betrothal function of Balaji on 14th... But our other relative here asked me whether I want to come with them by their car to attend the function...! So I though it would be convenient for us to go by car and return and decided to go...! I also didnt want to miss out the opportunity of meeting all my relatives at one place...!! I have took off for my office in the afternoon and we have started to Bodinayakanur...!

We have arrived there bit late, but the function started well inside the auspicious time...

The highlight of the day was, everyone was very affectionate towards us, particularly my first maternal uncle spoke to me well, even he called me by name... I was so happy about it...!

A different Teacher's Day...!

Its a very good start of the week today...! I was not able to write here for the past two days...!

On last Saturday, I was busy with various activities. In the morning we had the PTA meeting and in the afternoon there was a Teacher's Day function at our group teacher education college, I was invited as Guest of Honor...!

The program was organised a bit differently...! When the speech by the delegates were going on, all the teachers were served a scrolled piece of paper to keep with them. Every paper contained a name of a leader or event or a date...!

As part of the agenda, there was a ceremony to honor the teacher...! That time the organisers started reading a date or event or a name of the leader...! The person who was having the matching paper should come on to the stage to receive the gift...!

I liked the way the function was organised....!

Music that heals...!

If you are the regular reader of my blog, you might be knowing that I love listen songs...! That too soft melodies in Tamil...! Normally I use to listen to songs at bedtime in my mobile phone...!

Couple of days back I was listening to one 'Uyirilae enathu uyirilae' song from Vettayadu Vilayadu Tamil film...! I love that song very much as it is a superb melody...! After the 'Uyire uyire' song from the film Bombay, this is the only song which I feel very near to my heart...! It is a proven scientific fact that when you are happened to listen to songs of that kind of melody with full involvement, you will become more calm and get relaxed....!

Yesterday my mother had gone to Chennai to take part in a temple ritual there...! She has plans of attending my cousin's betrothal on Monday. Today is quite usual as other days...!

But tomorrow going to be a busy and tense day as we have the PTA meeting at our institution...! Let me see whether the Sunday would be a fantastic weekend...!

Feeling like writing my diary...!

As I said in my yesterday's post, we have attended the marriage reception of my distant relative yesterday evening...! When we were about to return from that function I have got a call from my mother that my Chithappa (uncle) has come to invite us for his son's betrothal function on coming Monday..!

My son had enjoyed talking to him for a while...!

I would like to mention here again the fact that I really enjoy writing on my blog...! I have stopped writing diaries since the year 2000. But writing here gives me the same pleasure like writing a diary...! The only different is, this is open and transparent (But you know diaries are private)...!

One can write whatever they want to but without affecting others interests...! I know my limitations...!

and ... counting the days to get the good news about a new job...! For sure I will write about it here once I get it...!

Congrats Balaji...!!

Balaji, cousin brother will be getting married soon...! His parent fixed the betrothal function on 14th of this month...! We all have been invited...! Yet another opportunity for a family gathering...!

But I am really afraid whether we could make it on that day as my wife is advised not to make long travel.... Bodi, the place of the bride where the betrothal will took place is about 200 kms away from here...!

I have called him today over phone and wished him the best...! I am still not able to accept or believe we all have transformed from children to adult...! Childhood is the best part of anyone's life...!

About my job search, there are signs of positive improvements..! I hope I will post some good news here by next week...!

An interesting matter happened this lunch...! When I was preparing to return to my office from home, my son also preparing to come with me to my office...! I have consoled him that I will take him to my office on Sunday...!

The swing he played in our campus attracted him very much I guess...!

Today evening we will be attending a marriage reception of one of our distant relative...!

Hope the tomorrow will always be better than today...!

It was a very happy Onam with family...!

I hope I have wrote here on 01st of this month only when I was out for Onam. The other days I was not able to find a browsing center as all of them were closed for Onam holidays...!

On the Onam day, I haven't been anywhere except having a good typical Onasadya for lunch...! The next day we have been to a tourist place called Veli in Trivandrum...!

There is a park and a boat house..! There were lots of Swings put up for the children to play...! My son got excited on seeing the Swings and wanted to play in it without our support..! I found it hard to take him from that place to another...!

Sometimes he played alone and some other time he shared the facility with other kids playing there...! Such a happy moment for the son to play and the father to watch...!

Then we have hired a separate pedal boat for us...! But the only hard thing about it is, I felt it very hard to pedal the boat (such a poorly maintained boat I guess...!).

It was really nice to be on the back waters of Kerala for a while...! Then we moved to the Shangu Mugam (The beach there)... Here my son played for a while but was frightened by a high tide rose over his head ....!

Then we moved on to the nearby park where he played a lot of Ratnams and playtoys..!

A point worth mentioning here is the Trivandrum airport which is very near to the sea...! The view from sky when landing will really be a fantastic thing which one cannot afford to miss..! I have flown to there couple of times and very much enjoyed it...!

Today is our 4th Anniversary...!!!

Finally the rush is over for this academic year...! Its a sort of relief for everyone out here...! The admissions are over, we are returning to regular schedule...!!

Then ... today is our 4th anniversary...! Its been 4 years since we got married and my 'elder' son will be completing 3 years on 22nd of this month...! Today we woke up early in the morning and went to few temples in town...!

Few other are still pending. We are planning to go there this evening...! So I will be leaving my office 'early' today at 5.50 pm...! We will be attending a special pooja at Sri Lakshmi Narasinga Perumal Temple here...!

I will write about my Onam holidays tomorrow..! There are photos and videos to share with you...! I haven't brought my mobile phone's data cable to transfer them to my PC..! So my tomorrow's post will be having more multimedia...!

Away from the internet...!

I have returned from Trivandrum last Friday night itself. There is an internet service outage due to some maintenance work in our town. As we have shifted to the new admin block, the internet connectivity will be available from tomorrow only. So now i am living away from the internet. Even i an using my mobile phone to publish this post. There are lot to write. Please bear with me until i write here tomorrow afternoon.

State mourns YSR's death

The state Government mourns the unexpected chopper crash death of the Andhra Pradesh Chief minister YS Rajasekara Reddy and announced tomorrow as a Government holiday. So i have stayed back here and decided to meet the doctor tomorrow instead of next Monday. So i will write again here on Saturday again..

The building construction and the wound...!

Today only I have noticed that I have done small spelling mistake in the verse

இன்னும் என் கனவுகளில் நீ I have wrote in my tamil blog !!! I havee corrected it little before...!

I have forgot to write about the wound I have got last Friday...! That evening about 7 pm I was just walking into a new building construction to see the progress of the construction at our college campus...!
I didnt watched something on the floor on which my right foot struck and I have stumbled a little ... In an attempt to balance myself, I have put my foot on a iron rod ... As I have slipped, the rod scratched on the side of my ankle and made an injury...
I have washed my leg with water. I have lost a good amount of blood. Now it is alright !!
Then about my yesterday we were just went out to roam around the festival bazaar and come back in the afternoon.
In the evening, we have been to the newly released Tamil Movie 'Kandhasamy'..! Its a mix of some old films in a new dimension....!!
Thats all about yesterday...!
Today I have no plans of going out but planning to work on the project I have wrote about in an another post earlier....!
I will try to keep you posted every day...!

The irritating train journey!!

Its good, I have got some time to spend on my blog!! Last Sunday I have reached Madurai at 1 pm !! My brother was waiting there for me...! As I had very little time to spend there and got to catch my train at 4 pm, I have decided not to go his home...! So we finished all the work and had our lunch in a hotel.
My brother dropped me in the railway station around 3.15 pm. As there were no trains since the morning, there was a huge crowd waiting to board the train which I was planning to go by...!
There is no other go, I have managed some how to get into the train as the first person, but still no luck. It was already full....
The train started on time, but the worst part of the journey came within 15 minutes.. The train was stopped on a signal and its stay there prolonged to another 2 hours... It was a terrible experience I have ever had on a train...! Standing for about 3 hours, finally I have got a place to sit...! (He was the only person get down in that whole compartment at that station)...
As I knew the pain of standing for a long time on a crowded train, I have asked two other elderly persons to share the seat with me....
I have reached Trivandrum at 1 am in the midnight....!

Onashamsakal...!

To be frank... I should thank the Kerala community studying in large numbers in our institutions...! As everyone knows, Onam is a very famous Kerala festival celebrated across the state of Kerala...!

So we have holidays for Onam starting from Tomorrow till 3rd of September...! On 4th our administrative office will start functioning in the new admin block inside the same campus... Elaborate arrangements have been arranged by me for the shifting process...!

I will be leaving to Madurai tomorrow as I have some work including visits to Tailor shop and home appliances shop...! I will also meet my brother tomorrow...! In the evening of the same day I have planned to go to Trivandrum by train as I have left my family there for Onam...!

I am planning to meet the doctor on Monday or Tuesday (depends on his appointment)... As I have been invited by Father-in-law for the Onam, I will be staying two more days till Thursday in Trivandrum....

So I am not sure on what days I can post on my blog...! Because due to Onam festival the browsing centers will also remain closed ... I will try my level best to post on all days... If not, please bear with me until I come back on Friday!!

It is good to hear from 'Dr Micky' from US again!! She wrote in her comments on my post about two good things (actually it is three..!!!)

1. Her son Michael got the Chancellor's honors full scholarship of University of Tennessee (Its a good rememberance with the Top brass of UT while I toured there!!)

2. He had been offered a position playing French Horne in the Junior Knoxvile Symphony Orchestra

3. He had been offered a position playing Bass Guitar with the Walters state community college Jazz performing band! (I still remember the Walters state community college I have visited in the US!!)

Michael is a very sharp boy as I have seen him...! He is having potential to achieve more too...! Surely he will be in news across the globe...!

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank 'Dr Micky' for her medical inputs for my health!!

It is always cheerful to get comments on my posts...! But those are all coming only from the west... What about the people from the East...? Is no one out there...?!

Ideas that click !!!

So it is almost three days since I have left my son in Trivandrum...! I have never felt this much hard to be away from him...! Anyhow distance is not a matter these days....!

The day started well today...! Good thing about today is, I have conceived lots of good ideas for the development of the institutions I represent...! I have arranged for a top management meeting and discussed about that...! Everyone accepted and appreciated the ideas...!

It is not good to keep things on mind and paper...! So I am directly into action...! One of the ideas have been given good shape and the works also have been started today itself...!

Though it is not on time, its not a late lunch for me...! After I have returned from lunch, I have got enough leisure time to write a Tamil verse ! I have realised that there is a driving force which encourages me whenever I feel down... I hope you like the verse (If you know my language...!)

Banking at doorsteps...!

I think its going to be a very short story today...! After my regular schedule this morning, we have got bankers from two different bankers...! So we have started negotiating with them about reduction of interest rate...!

There were times when people have wandered from bank to bank searching for a way to fund their projects...! Those were the times when banks have funded to the wealthy to become more wealthier...! I have seen in my experience lots of good minds have been deprived off for lack of money...!

Today the banks are serving at your doorsteps...! But still the gap is there...! In the afternoon (I should say evening...) I have returned from lunch at 4.15 pm only...!

People are telling me that my face is looking sad these days...! But I don't think so.. May be as I have grew a little beard, they are getting that illusion I think...!

Anyways ... let us hope for a better tomorrow....!

The family get together

These days we are very much interested in attending any relatives' function without fail...! Because it opens the door for all of our family members to get together, meet and greet each other...!

That way we have attended the betrothal function on last Monday at Ganapathi Marriage Hall in Sankarankoil (One of the famous marriage halls in the town). Almost all of our relatives were present there and we had a chance to talk to them all...

Initially we have decided to take my Friend's car but my maternal uncle invited us to come by the car by which he came... But finally some of our other relatives went with him and we went as decided earlier...!

We had our lunch at the marriage hall ... As we spent good amount of time there, we had missed the bus to Trivandrum in which we regularly use to go... So we have traveled by the next bus and reached Trivandrum at 9.30 pm in the night....!

Expecting more of this kind of functions...!

Coming down or Calming down!!

Ahh..! I am back from Trivandrum!! I have started at 4.10 pm yesterday and traveled for about 5 hours on two buses...! As it traveled on the hills and bumpy roads gifted (?!) by moderate rain, it had been a very tiresome experience...!

As I have left my wife and kid in Trivandrum for the forthcoming Onam festival, my companion all through my journey was my mobile phone (as it played the role of a mp3 player...)..! I have listened to at least 50 melody songs all of about 10-15 years old...! Really amazing to listen to my all time favourites...!

I reached home by around 9.15 pm in the night... had a good dinner prepared by Mom and went fast asleep!!

Yesterday when I have met the doctor, I have been told the HBP levels have come down to 120/90... but still the doctor asked me to continue some medications...

About today... almost the entire morning session was taken up by one of the service vendor who came here to propose and promote their in association with us... The busyness continued till I start writing this post!!

Then about the betrothal function I have attended, I will write on a seperate post positively today!!

Hope (every) tomorrow will be better than today...!

But the case is entirely different for the families living in a foreign land...! Though a few of them find their ways to get a calendar for them but most other are not...! They miss out things to do on important dates what they did earlier back home...!

So hereafter I will also try to put a note about important / auspicious dates in my regular post in advance...! But I cant really make you know about everything you wanted to know...!

Vinayakar Chathurthi

Very simple title today... isn't it..! Normally I used to give more importance in selecting my posts' titles. I wanted it to be so attractive and represent the post...!! Its you who knows whether it has served its purpose or not...!

For those who don't know what is Vinayakar Chathurthi, It is the birthday of God Vinayaga (The Elephant faced, human bodied God) celebrated by Hindus!! This morning we have attended Poojas in couple of temples around here...!

Then once we have returned to our home, I have took my son to my relative's house as I want him to mingle with people more... I don't want him to remain an exclusive 'Dad's Chellam'..!

He was playing there for a while with some toys and Vikram there...!

As you knew tomorrow there is a betrothal function, its also a chance for our relatives including us to get together...! I really want to be with people always...!!

The another good thing about today is, my first maternal uncle and aunt visited our home and spent sometime with us..!

Then ... about tomorrow, after attending the function in the morning, we will be leaving to Trivandrum for my treatment. So I will try to write my tomorrow's post tomorrow morning... if not, please bear with my until I come back on Wednesday morning...!!

Trees on a walk !!

Its yet another end of the week!! Though we will be working tomorrow, Fridays are always special as the following day or the day next to it will be a holiday!! Here, for the past three days, the monsoon is playing hide and seek!! One day it was raining, the other day it was too sunny...!

Then ... there are lots of refurbishing activities going around our campus as an attempt to make the entire campus more greener and eye catching...! As part of those activities there were lots of lawns paved, new plants cultivated, ...and lots of re-plantations have also been done...!

There were previously planted trees grew up well and standing irrelevant in some places...! Those trees have been gently uprooted and moved to more apt places inside the campus...! We have moved 'em with cranes..! The scene was looking like the trees were walking around the campus...!

Will there be a light at the end of the tunnel?

You knew I am planning to change my job and looking for a good alternate!! Its getting tough on which offer to accept now!! I don't know whether the global recession is the reason for the many unattractive offers coming across!!!

Even then India is not that much hit by the recession and even the global markets also getting up slowly now!! But anyhow I don't want to pick one among those available ones!! My next jump should be a giant leap rather than a smaller one...!

I know I should wait like Swan until the big fish arrives...! But the situation around me putting pressure on me to take a quick decision!!! I also knew most of the times it is unwise to take a decision for the sake of pressure!!

Anyhow ... the world is open and to see what best we can do...!

The invitation's impact !!!

Today was a bit of boring one!! i didnt do much today!! The rain was also not there as expected yesterday!!!

This afternoon I have recieved a phone call from my aunt's brother from Sankarankoil. He invited us to the betrothal function of his daughter on 24th. Actually we were previously planning to go to Trivandrum on 23rd to consult the doctor for me and leave my wife at her mother's house for a week!!

But since we have been invited, now we are planning to reschedule the trip to 24th evening!! But this decision is subject to change based on my work schedule... Anyhow as I am writing everyday, i will write about it in the days to come!!

Whatelse ... I am still not able to see a positive turn in my job search...! Looking forward to it ...! Then how was your day today...? Hope it was good...!

Rain rain come today! Come again everyday!!

Finally the monsoon opened up its account today for this year in this region!! Its raining outside! Rain is a happy sign for any business, for any people!! Let it rain!!

Though it is not a cloudburst, though it is not a heavy downpour, it is moderate enough to wipe out the drought in many areas!! So I am happy about that....

Today I was just going through the photographs taken using my mobile phone in the past... One of it was a beautiful saying..

"Life is too short too wake up with regrets!! So, Love the people who treat you right. Forget about the ones who dont !!!"

How true it is...! I loved it and wanted to give it a place in my Orkut profile page for a while... (Atleast until I come across an another good one..)

Then about that odd one I have mentioned this morning was, I have got a call from one of my boss on a topic which is not true...! But it was told to him by someone in such a way to make him believe it immediately without analyzing what could be the fact!!! I was silently listening to him whatever he spoke over phone and let him finish!!

I have taken couple of minutes to collect all supporting docs and rang him up again...! I have explained everything to him to make him understand nothing went wrong..!

The 'Doctor's' remote support !!

The day started well today...! Even the market turned positive...! My friend is still traveling places around here!! Business started good at our institutions!! ... and I have received 3 comments on all my yesterday's post from 'Dr Mickie' from US !!

Then after a very long break, today I have write a Tamil verse in my other blog !

Swine Flu outbreak ..! Should be careful !!!

Its unimaginable for me, how I have spent few days in New York amidst of the Swine Flu outbreak!! Now it has entered India also... Started in Pune and rapidly spread to other part of the country...!

I will blame the Government for taking belated steps and for having taken it lightly...! When I have returned from Atlanta to Mumbai, we have been supplied a form wherein everyone was asked to fill up whether they had fever or close contact with affected people...! To my knowledge, everyone filled up in their favour only...! No one checked up whether it is true or not!! There were people deployed just to put the seal on the paper!!!

Now, after a toll of 28 valuable lives, the Government is installing thermal scanners and other corrective measures...! Now everyone is fearful...! Not able to even closely talk to friends who have traveled from / to place inside / outside country!!

One of my friend have come today from Chennai (He owns a Software Company ) here in an attempt to sell his product to educational institutions. So I started around 08.30 am this morning, met him at the hotel, had breakfast with him and reached my office (as usual on time... :) ) after sending him to places around here...

Then my today went on very busy as there were lots of new admissions came today!! Hope it will be less busier tomorrow!!

No Meat ...! Not Good....!

How was the weekend..? Did you enjoy it...? For me on Saturday, as you know, India celebrated its 63rd Independence day... ! Being an educational institutions group we too celebrated in all our campuses..!

I have attended the celebrations with my son. He was very eagerly playing and saluting tot the national flag on that day...! After the celebrations we had a official staff meeting till the afternoon.

In the post lunch session things went on very normally...! But for me there was a bad thing happened...! My Nokia E51 phone software updater notified me that there is a new firmware update available for my phone!! So I have decided to update it!!!

The real problem had happened when I have forgot to backup my phone!! Though the updater software shown me a warning to backup my phone, due to work busy, I did not back it up!

Only in the night I have realised I have lost all my contact numbers and socked...! The numbers are of most valuable to me...! After thinking for a while, I remembered that I have taken up a previous back up on end of May...!

Thank God !! the next day I have rushed to my office and safely restored the contact list to my phone...! Then I have took my son to the nearby saloon for haircut.

This Sunday my family decided not to buy any meat ...! But I don't want them to sacrifice for me !! But I have been pressed by everyone and the Sunday went on without non veg!!

But I am determinant to buy meat on coming weeks for my family (but not for me!!)!!

Then about my today, I will write this evening!! Till then bye... Take care !!

Where are you Doctor...?!

Hope you read my post about our Sri Kalahasthi visit....! That was on 1st and 2nd of this month....

Then on the following week, one day we went on

to meet the doctor for a regular check up for my wife (hope you understand..). That day I just wanted to check my BP also . . . Surprisingly it was a dead cat bounce...!! Once again it has gone up to 140/100 !!!

As the doctor is a known lady to us, she suggested an immediate consultation with a physician!!!

So we have traveled again to Trivandrum that weekend and had a consultation with a physician in the Fort SP Hospital there... The BP was the same then too... They prescribed couple of tests including ECG and test for Cholesterol ...

I have had a little cholesterol (204) than the normal level (Its really unvelievable for a thin man like me... ) So now there is a ban for me to eat meat except fish (That too unfried...)

My really worry is why I am getting all these... Because I am a clean slate ... I dont have a gad habits... Then we went out to a part there in the evening ...

63 Years gone since India become Independent...!!! But still we lag behind despite of being a nation filled with lots skilled people, tons of resources, millions spread across the Globe and supporting, etc etc...!

But what stops us...? Why the growth rate is not on par with other nations who have become independent later than India... The case of Japan and Singapore are exceptionally fast paced...!

If not like them, atleast we should have achieved a remarkable growth in these three quarters of a century... OK past is past... Still there are long way to go...!

Anyhow it is 63rd Independence day today...!

Sri Kalahasthi - a Devine Paradise

It was our plan to visit Sri Kalahasthi, one of the favourite Hindu temple town new Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh...! So we have tried for tickets in a train which will directly take us to Renigunta, a town near both Tirupati and Sri Kalahasthi...!

But unfortunately we didnt get a seat in that train...! So we travelled to Chennai on a day time train and stayed overnight there...! In the morning, we caught the first train to Renigunta and from there we traveled to Sri Kalahasthi by bus...!

We booked a room near the entrance of the temple there and visited the temple twice on the same day (One immediately we arrived there and the other in the evening...) As our next train to our place from Chennai was only on the next day evening, we stayed overnight there and returned to Chennai the next day afternoon...!

As we had plenty of time left till the evening, we went to Spencer Plaza (one of the biggest shopping mall in town) and spent time there purchasing some items...!

My son really enjoyed in the toy shop there...!

Then we arrived our place the next day morning...! It was really a happy trip in the weekend prior to the previous one...!

I am back and continue to be here ...!

Its been about a fortnight since I have wrote here...! I remember I have promised to write here atleast once in a week...! But there were few other factors kept busy and finally I am back...!

So from today onwards its going to be a daily post from my side...! I don't want to take any excuse on this...! As you knew writing here gave me a shy of relief...!

So today I have decided to write about two of my weekend passed since my last post here...!

Not in state ...!

I am finding it very difficult to allocate time to write my regular blog...! As a regular reader of my blog (I dont know whether you are still regular as I am not in writing...), you knew that I have, for a while, decided to write once in a week instead of every day...!

To say about this week it is too busy all throught the week...! But I didnt missed some 'good clicks' of / with my son...!

Then surprised to see today's topic...! It is nothing but I am going out of Tamilnadu this weekend to take part in a ritual ... So I will be back on Tuesday the 04th of August 2009.

All of you knew that I have wrote a small piece of software to count number of days between two dates... For those who are not aware of it, you can find the same available on the right pane of my blog with the title Days Counter Widget...!

I have hosted a copy of the same in my website also...! You can access it by navigating your browser to http://www.dreamandget.com/mobile/datecounter/ . The real fun about this software is, it is compatible with your mobile device also...!

You can access the same URL mentioned above through your mobile device too...! It is a pre-release and exclusively for the use of my readers... I am planning to give away this software to be included in anyone's blog at free of cost... Soon I will post the link for that also here...!

It is hard to stay away from children...!

It is more than a week since I have posted here... ! There are reasons for the dalay and eventually I have decided to post here atleast twice a week instead of posting daily...! The reason is, as it is admission season here, we are very busy working on it...! It gets late everyday to come back home and could not find enough time to post on my blog...! 

You know I love writing on my blog...! So I dont want to do it for namesake..! Today I have got bit time and decided to write here...! 

First I thank Mickie for her comments on my blogs ! Then the entire week went on monotonously...!

But on 18th of this month, when we were just relaxedly sitting at the backyard of our home, my son came with a small piece of vessel which is used by my wife for cooking ...! I though he had took it to play... But he hold it on his hands and pretended to holding a microphone and start singing...! 

It was joyful... he kept singing lots of Tamil film song and I thought of sharing it with you here...! I dont know whether his pronounciation is understandable to you ...! But I hope you enjoyed it...!

Change of job..? Announce the world...!

Dear reader(s),

You might be wondering why I have started this post like a letter...! It is just to make you feel synonymous in style about the matter this post talks about...!

Yesterday I have wrote about back after vacation... The other thing I just wanted to share with you is about letting people know about your job change... There are 4 category of people.

1. Those who use to announce the world that they are about to change their job well in advance...

2. Those who use to announce at the neck of the time..

3. Those who use to announce once they join their new job...

4. Finally... those who never use to announce about things...

It is always better not to fall in the 4th category... My pick in the above categories is category 1. In the worst atleast one should fall in the category 2...

Back after vacation...? Welcome back...!

Hope you know that I havent wrote regularly last week and promised to write daily in my yesterday's post...!

Right from the day I have returned from the US, I was thinking of writing about this post... But it has got its time now only...!

Going on vacation is a very nice thing as we get relaxed for sometime and keep ourselves away from the work pressure...! But when we are back after vacation, for most of us it will not be really a 'Welcome back' as we should finish up all the piled up works in our absence...!

But there is an another online route to reduce the burden (what people like me use...). But vacation will not be a vacation then.... Anyhow for those who are back from vacation and under tremendous work pressure, I have wrote a widget for blogger (a small piece of software) for you to get relaxed...

You can see it in the right side bar of my blog with the title Days counter widget ...! You can enter two dates in the text fields and find out the number of days in between...

Its been long since I have wrote...!

Its been almost a week since I have wrote here...! There were several reasons for the delay...! The reason is, I was kept busy by lots of work due to start of new academic year... I have started early in the morning and finished very late in the evenings...

Also I was not available last weekend too...! As this is the buying season here (Aadi Sale), normally people tend to make their festival purchases in this month... (Not everyone but most of the people)

There was a new textile shop (Pothys)  opened recently in Madurai... We have decided to finish our Diwali purchase there and planned to go to Madurai by train... Since it is the tourism season in Kutralam, the train was jam packed and we were among those fortunate ones to get into it and find a seat after several kilometres of journey...

It is comfort travelling by train than the bus travel on the bumpy roads on some places... The another reason we have chosen to travel by train is, as of present conditions it is not good for my wife to travel such a distance on bumpy roads...

As I have traveled across the globe, I can say buying clothes in India is much more cheaper than in any other countries I have traveled ever...! 

I am not able guess you last week was... Hope it was fantastic... You can hereafter expect my regularly everyday...!

Its a holiday, but working ...!

Today is a local holiday for the Tirunelveli District due to Kumbhabisekam of Sri Rajagopalaswamy Temple in Palayamkottai ...! Our intitutions also not working today except the administrative office...! So I have started as usual today to office...!

But When I was approaching the main road from my street, there was a big buffalo herd marching on the road which made me a couple of minutes delay to cross it...! To match up the time delay I had to be little fast today...!

But once I have reached my office, I have found people started their day very relaxed as they are working on a holiday... The local network was not on... Not much people turned up on time...! But I have let them do it ...! 

Its my way of handling people ... If they wanted to work relaxed they have that freedom to that... But end of the day there should not any lag in the work to be completed...! Thats all...!

Why didn't you write me...?

Hope you have read my previous post 'Why don't I change my job...?' 

Till now my today was so beautiful with lots of activities which kept me very very busy...! Even the climate is turning good...! I did not have much chance to spend more time on the internet today...! Then... how about your day today...? Seems you were very busy ...?! 

Actually this post was supposed to be posted yesterday...! But I have forgot about it when I was writing my regular post yesterday...!

Once I have come back from the US, I have become very busy with my work and was not able to be in touch with my US contacts very frequently...! Though I have sent mail to all of them every now and then...! But one mail was kept on bouncing for the reason 'No such account'. 

It is Mr YashPaul Sehgal's ID...! Surprisingly, I have got a phone call from him day before yesterday...! He started shouting at me for not sending mails to him...! He is a very nice, brave gentleman who prepared and hosted an Indian dinner for us when we where staying in Sevierville...!

He kept on insisting to let him know if anything we need to be done in the US, he will always there to help us...! But what am I going to expect except his love and affection towards us for a lifetime...?

Because ... I love people...!

Why dont I change my job..?

Hope you are out of your desk today...! It's just a guess..! 

I hope you read my post I have decided to refuse yesterday...! I have also wrote that I will write here why I am looking for a job change. 

It's about 8 years I have been working for this institution... Stood besides the good and bad times... Worked hard for the growth of the institutions...! When I have been asked to join the institution 8 years back, I have been told (promised) that I will be taken care well by the institution but should wait till the institution grows to a good level...!

Now the institution grown up manifold...! But I feel have not yet been taken care ...! I feel I am under paid... The promoters might be waiting for a still better time...! But as I am 32, I don't want to lose any good offers that will prosper my family's future..! 

I know very well about my strengths and weaknesses...! I have never overestimated my ability and skills ..! 

Another reason why I am looking for a job change is for my kid's education...! As he is nearing his school going age, there are not better schools in this vicinity since Puliangudi is a small town...! You know my son means a lot to me...! 

So these are the reasons why I am looking for a job change...! If you have good reference you are most welcome to write to me about it...!

I have decided to refuse...!

Being a Tuesday, my today is very flat going... But yours seems to be busy except in the start of the hour..?! 

Hope you read my post 'Should I accept the job offer in Japan...?' and remember I have got a job offer to work in Japan...! Also you knew that I have kept the decision pending...! 

After carefully analyzing lots of factors related to the 'why should I' and 'Why should not I' of the offer, today I have decided not to accept the particular job offer ...!

But wait... that's not the end of the story... This decision is applicable to this particular offer only and doesn't mean that I have totally decided against working in Japan...!!

I am seriously looking for a good offer and I am sure I will get a better one... If I get it from Japan, I will be more happier. If it is from any other country or any other place within India, that would be the  decision by the God and I will review it and decide accordingly...! 

You might be wondering why I am looking for a job change...! I will write to you about that 'why' very soon...!

The Big B Day....!

Hope you have read my previous post 'Should I write to you...?'. This is my third post today...!

Today is the day waited for about a fortnight by most of the investors with the hope that this day will bring more fortunes to them on the scrips they have invested...! 

Yes... today is the Big B Day... the Big Budget Day...! The Finance Minister of India submitted the 2009-10 Budget today...! But things worked on the negative side... The so called Big B become Big B(ad) day for the investors...!

 Stocks did a nose dive... the sensex and nifty shed hundreds of points... Though I am also on the losing side, not all of my stocks lost its profit... The reason is I did not buy them targeting the budget... So half of them lost on a short day and the remaining were already on a earning spree...

So I had a balance between the both extremes and once market bounce back I will recover my loses and continue to be a profitful...! Because I am a very disciplined investor (though I am tiny...) and not greedy...! 

In total India Inc., got disappointed today...! 

Except the market trends, my today was filled with lots and lots of mixed activities...! We have got a inspection team visiting our institution, as lots deadlines nearing I was discussing with the heads of concerned departments and so on my day went busy...!

Should I write to you...?

You know my blog is my favourite place where I release my pressure... I don't know to whom I am writing too... I don't know those special ones are reading my blog... but still its a kind of relief for me whenever I write here....

Its my hope there is someone special is reading my blog everyday... ! I thought of even writing to them, but I am not sure whether they are in a position to receive / respond to my emails...! It is always better not to disturb people...! 

Blogging, Social networking are tools which keeps people in touch...! It let to know the happening of each others' lives...! If you are the one to whom I have lost contact for years together, this is the right time you can write to me ... !
